I have exactly 3 weeks before i go home for my 3 week summer break, so im gonna set some goals.
My goals for the gym today: At least 40 min cardio, 10 minutes of planking ( in 1 min intervals) And get a good workout in for shoulders/arms. upper back. Pretty simple.
My goals for summer.
Get under 30% body fat ( im between 31 and 32 now)
Get under 290 pounds
Fit into an XL tank top and look decent ( That one might be a long shot)
Run a 10min mile ( current mile is still 13min)
Get more sleep! Its the one thing that sucks me into bad eating habits and not working out as much as i should.
Im also revising my weight loss goal. 220 was my highschool football weight. Its been about 5 years since ive played football and im about 3 inches taller. So im going to make my goal to get to 19% body fat which would put me at about 250. ( Im know thats a high number, but im a big guy.) So My goal from now on is 250, or 19% body fat.
I know this seems pretty intense but im gonna try to do it, i really want there to be a noticeable difference when i get home.
I cant play videos on tumblr. It just says ” Error playing video” All of my software is up to date, ive emptied my cache and cleared my cookies and restarted my computer twice. Idk what to do. Im on a mac if that helps… ?
This weekend was really busy so i didnt get to work out but i did get a good walk in, enough to feel it a little in my lower abs and shoulders ( i carried a lot of groceries home) As far as eating goes i wasnt great, but when have i been. I think i was good as far as calories go.Itll be easier for me to record everything mon-fri since i eat less and its not as rushed as it was this weekend. I also started taking L-carnitene, figured i try it out.
In the time that ive been away ive accumulated quite a few new followers, so this posts purpose is to introduce myself, let you know what im all about, and let you know what is to come.

Ok, as for the actual introduction, Hey! Im Kyle. Here a list of stuff describing me.
- Im 20 years old.
-Im a student here at the Culinary Institute of America in upstate NY
- Im in the Culinary Arts/Hospitality Management BPS program ( duh)
- I love working out but i lose motivation easily and I also love eating.
- My ultimate goal weight is my high school football weight of 220.
- I played a lot of sports in high school and have actually lost about 60 pounds before, i just didnt do a great job of maintaining=\
- This blog is basically my progress and thoughts along the way, trying to lose weight while getting the most out of my experience in college and not limiting myself (too much).
As for the future I want to start posting more about my actual workouts and maybe do 1 fitness challenge a week from you guys if i get enough people sending ideas for them. I just want to have fun with it.

For some reason all activity on my tumblr came to a halt out of nowhere and i ran out of things to post about, but i want to start posting again. Ive found that the more involved i am in this the more mindful i am in the outside world, so send me asks! Lets support each other=]
Ive actually gotten quite a few new followers since ive stopped posting so ill make a new intro post for all of you, and maybe a run down of what id like to do from now on.
Also, summers coming up and i plan on posting A LOT. im not going to have school for 3 whole weeks so im gonna spend as much time being active as i can, im going to start posting videos on my youtube channel also.

Have you thought about what your "first time" would be like? Do you think you'll be nervous?
Ive thought about it. I think there will be a certain level of anxiety with it, i just dont want to be one of those people who regrets having sex with someone. If i have sex with someone i want to make sure its something i definitely want to do, and that id be willing to commit fully to that person. Im not really a one night stand guy.
The funny thing is ive been in two pretty serious relationships before, and im glad i didnt have sex with either girl, so its working out for me so far. =]

I would totally own one of those little raptor looking things that ate that little girl in jurassic park. Not because they ate a little girl, but because it would probably be adorable to feed little chunks of meat and stuff.
maybe you just burnt yourself out, dont worry you'll get back to where you were. it'll take time but you'll get back to where you were, seeings that i too have lost my motivation but i know i'll find it again and you will too. just dont stress over it.
Yeah =\ It just sucks cause i keep gaining weight back, but i just went to the mall and got a new ipod ( i lost mine a few weeks ago) and some of my favorite protein powder, some flax seeds, and a new blender bottle. So im feeling a little stoked to get back in the gym. Hopefully it sticks =]
